I have been tagged by the lovely Fionnuala of Basil Exposition. And no, I will not be sharing the insides of my fridge — actually makes that fridges; we’ve got two in order to accommodate the whole lot of us. But rather than expose you to that messy abyss, I’ll be ushering you one step further into my life. Excitement. 
This is me, looking a little creepy but mostly just like I look every day, or the days when I wear my work uniform at least. I needed something portable to eat on the way to work and came up with this banana-almond-castle-wall (indulge at your peril!). My housemate thought my snack was funny so she wanted a picture. Oh, and my name is Shayne, like the boy’s name, like the western. I don’t think I’ve given out that info before. Now! Onto the meme…
1. Four Places I Go Over and Over (I’ll confine this to my Dublin life, I suppose, since that’s where I am now)
* Down Ranelagh Road. It’s the path I take to school on my bicycle and where I walk to get to work. The sidewalks are covered in piles of leaves right now — so autumnal and wonderful!
* Cornucopia. I was there for lunch and dinner yesterday. Happiness.
* My gym. It’s above a grocery store and the treadmills are lined up along a row of windows that overlooks Camden Street, so you can do some extreme people watching while you run.
* Evergreen, my one stop shop on Camden Street for all my fruits and veggies.

3. Four Places I Would Rather Be Right Now (I’m pretty happy sitting in my cozy bed right now, having just finished a beautiful bowl of oatmeal, and the sun shining through the window… So I will just make this my top four favorite places)
* Illinois (at the pumpkin patch, with the fam, eating a caramel apple, bundling up against the fall cold)
* New York (at Think Coffee, on a couch, eating a bagel and surrounded by NY friends)
* London (at the Imperial War Musuem, not eating because they don’t allow it)
* New Orleans (with my sister, enough said)
4. Four of My Favorite Places to Eat (Yay!)
* Taco Chulo in Williamsburg, my favorite restaurant of all time. My menu pick: the conejo burrito without rice on a wheat tortilla with extra salad mix — they put radishes in it! Oh, and a hibiscus margarita. You heard me.
* Octane Interlounge in Rockford. My menu pick: Thai noodles with tofu and a doppelganger — 4 shots of espresso with steamed chocolate (soy) milk!
* Cornucopia, in Dublin, obvi. Do I rave about this place enough? My menu pick: a mixture of the mediterranean chickpea salad and the butterbean salad, with an oat and berry bar with soy yogurt for dessert. So good.
* Red Bamboo in Greenwich Village. Flashback to freshman year, when I lived around the corner from this place and ate there at least once a week… good times! My menu pick: “chicken” satay, with any one of their delectable cheesecakes for dessert — split with a friend, because each piece is ginormous.
5. Four TV Shows I Watch Over and Over (I’m more of a rent-the-dvds-and-watch-them-all-in-one-sitting kind of a gal, so I’m sort of done with these)
* Weeds
* Big Love
* Top Chef (I really can watch reruns of this over and over)
* Sex and the City

i love Weeds, too! we don’t have cable, so i rent the DVDs on netflix, but i super love it – and Top Chef rocks so hard! i love cooking shows! wahooooooooooooo!
